Recently, Dollar Tree’s so-called “pink bags” have caught the attention of shoppers, as they contain brand-name products at a fraction of their usual price.
The trend was highlighted on TikTok by user @MarissaintheMidwest, who shared her shopping experience in a video that quickly went viral.
Marissa showed her followers what she found at her local Dollar Tree store, putting special emphasis on the special deals she found on the mysterious “pink bags.”
Beauty product finds at unbeatable prices in pink bags from Dollar Tree
Marissa was impressed by the variety and quality of the beauty products she found inside these bags. In particular, she highlighted several nail polishes from the well-known brand Sally Hansen, all available for just $1.25 each. This is a surprisingly low price when you consider that these products usually sell for at least $5 or $6 in other stores.
Among the polishes Marissa purchased, she mentioned a blue shade she described as “stunning” and a top coat from Sally Hansen’s Pride collection, designed to add shine and sparkle to nail polish. She also found other interesting shades, such as Peeps Pink Bunny from the Peeps collection and two polishes from the Insta-Dri line. She also came across a Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in the shade Sugar, which includes a subtle hint of shimmer.
Marissa’s excitement wasn’t limited to Sally Hansen products. During her tour, she also came across products from a lesser-known brand, Mineral Fusion. Although Marissa hadn’t heard of this brand before, she was delighted by the design and color of the products, especially a green polish called Olive You, which caught her eye for both its vibrant hue and its fun name.
One of the questions that came up in the comments on her video was whether these pink bags are available at all Dollar Tree stores. Marissa responded in a follow-up video that while she can’t confirm they’re present at all locations, she has noticed the trend at several Dollar Tree stores in her area.
“I don’t know if it’s like that at every Dollar Tree, but I’ve seen it at several around me,” he explained. “It’s just that there’s a brand name product hidden in the pink bag. Now, is your mission to make it a treasure hunt? No, but that’s how I interpret it and treat it like a treasure hunt every time.”

In addition to nail polishes, Marissa also found other beauty products hidden in these bags. In a later video, she showed off two-in-one gel options and a few items from the Maybelline Fast Gel line, reaffirming that the offerings in the pink bags are varied and worth seeking out.
