Pepe Aguilar, with his characteristic sense of humor, addressed the question about who was the person who financed Christian Nodal’s wedding with his daughter Angela in an interview for ‘Los 40 Colombia’. The interpreter of the song ‘El anticuado’, took the opportunity to mention that it was indeed he and his family who were responsible for covering the expenses of the wedding, which has been one of the most talked about events in the music industry in recent weeks.
During the conversation, the singer openly responded about having paid for the wedding: “Well, you have no other choice! Of course, absolutely.” However, they asked him if the interpreter of ‘Ya no somos ni seremos’ offered to pay for part of the celebration and Aguilar answered: “What do you think? My son-in-law didn’t say to me, ‘Hey, father-in-law, don’t you want me to help you with something?’”
There are many doubts about the union between Angela and Christian regarding the ceremony they held on July 24 of this year and one of them is the total amount that was invested, although Pepe simply did not want to reveal it in the interview and ended by saying: “Don’t remind me of those things because I’m going to ask you for tequila now too. Don’t remind me of those things.”
Although he didn’t want to reveal the total cost of the wedding, Pepe was amused by the public’s curiosity and made it clear that, as Angela’s father, it was his duty to contribute to such an important event. In this way, he cleared up any doubts and used the platform to share a light and pleasant moment. Without a doubt, this only increased the interest in one of the most followed couples of the moment.
The father of singer Ángela Aguilar did not stop joking about the subject that he was asked so many questions about, although he took the opportunity to highlight that the number of followers on his social networks since the wedding has increased considerably: “I’m going to tell my son to get married quickly so he can have another two million and keep going up,” he told ‘Los 40 Colombia’.
