Alicia Villarreal on divorce: “It is a process”

The process was done to get to that point, you can’t make such hasty decisions, but in marriage there are many ups and downs and we are definitely going through one of them,” she began by saying during a meeting with the media.

Following this, Villarreal expressed her intention to speak privately with Cruz to address the situation. However, it seems that the decision to separate has been the option she has chosen after 21 years of marriage and two children together. “I have a family, I have children, and as a responsible woman, as an artist, it is sometimes difficult to cope with this whole story. But people have grown up with ‘the spoiled blonde’, they have known me since I was a child, since I was young. And I have learned to be the woman I am today,” she said.
