Argentine singer Fito Páez announced, through his social networks, the cancellation of his performances in Mexico and Colombia due to a domestic accident that caused him to fracture five ribs.
In a statement, the singer of “El Amor Después del Amor” said, without specifying how his accident occurred, that he was forced to cancel his shows for the month of September in Mexico City and Guadalajara, Mexico, as well as his scheduled performance in Bogotá, Colombia.
Hello my dears. On Sunday morning I suffered a domestic accident that resulted in the fracture of five ribs. I am unable to attend the upcoming concerts in September in Mexico City, Guadalajara and Bogotá.
For this reason, the South American composer also pointed out that his team is carrying out the corresponding rescheduling: “I have my entire office rescheduling the concerts for the next few months. A stumble is not a fall. Thank you for your patience. I love you all very much.”
When will Fito Páez’s concerts be rescheduled?
Following the announcement by the interpreter of “A Lado del Camino”, the company Ocesa, in charge of the logistics of the artist’s shows, announced that the concert originally scheduled for September 21 at the National Auditorium in CDMX will now take place on January 21, 2025.
Meanwhile, the concert on September 19 at the Telmex Auditorium in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, will take place on January 26 of next year.
Regarding the presentation that the singer would give at the Cordillera Festival in Bogotá, Colombia, the event has not made an official announcement about the singer’s absence.
Finally, regarding the concert that the interpreter of “Dar es Dar” will give in the Zócalo of Mexico City, a venue where other important artists of international stature such as Paul McCartney, Roger Waters, among others, have performed, the action that will be taken has not been revealed.
