The recent breakup between Irina Baeva and Gabriel Soto has generated a series of rumors about a possible third party, pointing to Cecilia Galliano due to their collaboration in the play “El precio de la fama”. Despite the clarifications of the Mexican actor and the Argentinean about the non-existence of a romance, the controversy has gained strength, with media coverage of their personal lives.
Geraldine Bazán, Gabriel’s ex-wife, was approached by the press about these rumors and the harassment her ex-husband has been facing. However, the actress chose not to delve into the subject and quickly left, avoiding commenting further on the matter.
“The truth is, these are issues I’m not going to comment on. Thank you very much,” said the actress in front of the media.
Bazán also took the opportunity to explain the reasons that led her to take legal action against Maxime Woodside, who had made comments about her private life, specifically about her relationship with Soto, which made her feel uncomfortable and vulnerable. The situation reflects not only the intense media scrutiny faced by those involved, but also the difficulties that arise in this type of interpersonal dynamics.
“What I wanted was to create a precedent. We respect his work, it is a synergy, but it is not only about the issue of the media and the artist, I also believe that our society is already going much further in bullying, in speaking. A microphone gives you the power to say anything without having knowledge of the cause. The law granted me precautionary measures, it also made the physical person and the legal entity, in this case the company, remove all the content,” he added during his meeting with reporters.
Gabriel Soto’s ex-wife did not hesitate to mention that fortunately it is a “step forward” because it concerns her personal life, while she explained that: “I am not interested in putting anyone in jail, nor is it about money. It is about creating a precedent because I believe that in our society and our Mexico there must be limits.”
