One of the most talked-about separations of 2024 has been that of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. Although the divorce has already been officially filed, the couple still needs to resolve some issues as a couple and get rid of the house they lived in in Beverly Hills.
Recently, a source close to the singer and actress informed ‘Page Six’ that Lopez was never happy with the mansion in Beverly Hills, California, that she bought with her then husband. It should be remembered that the couple searched for a home for many months and in the end paid $60 million dollars.
This isn’t the first time that Affleck and Lopez’s opinions about the residence have been discussed. While the split was just a rumor, it was also said that the couple found many cons about the residence when they moved in.
The recently consulted source assures that “the mansion was Ben’s idea and a major commitment for her,” he continues, “she accepted because of its spacious layout, capacity for both families, a gym and a pickleball court, office space and it also has two private entrances.”
This residence is currently available on the real estate market for $68 million. At the moment, they have not found any takers for the residence, and it seems that they are not close to lowering their price either.
It is not known whether this type of information ends up being useful for the couple, since the property is considered a bad investment. One real estate investor has even said that the price of the property is far above the features that the house offers. This person claims that it is poorly located and has a regular layout.
Jennifer Lopez is currently looking for a new home in Los Angeles, California, and it seems that the Beverly Hills area is her favorite. Although she has not found a new home, she has begun to remove her belongings from the residence she shared with her ex.
