Sergio Mayer is no longer part of La Isla: Desafío Extremo and his departure has generated a series of reactions. Many regret that he is no longer part of the project, while others reject the fact that the reality show, in large part, is pre-recorded. Because the public has known for at least two weeks that Mayer was in Mexico. But the news as such was not seen until this week in the Telemundo competition.

On the other hand, now that it is clear, how was his departure? Now many applaud his time in the project, since before leaving he became a true “Robin Hood” for his colleagues from “Las Panteras”. It must be remembered that “Las Águilas”, his former team, was disbanded and now many of them are part of the ranks of both Las Panteras and Los Tiburones.
Before leaving the competition, the actor decided to swim to “Playa alta” to steal some food from “Los Tiburones” so he could take food to “Playa baja” where his team is. The action connected directly with the Hispanic public, while participants like Samira Jalil questioned it and pointed it out in a negative way.
This type of opinion is what has caused many people to fail to connect with Samira, who many consider to be really problematic in this type of television format. For some reason, her followers and the general public enjoy her role as a panelist more than as a participant and competitor.
