Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak are getting closer to losing their Georgia home through foreclosure. However, the former football player appears to be making his last attempts, bypassing what his ex wants.

It has recently been reported that Biermann has made a new request to the authorities, this time asking to be allowed to force the sale of the mansion, since during these months they have only found one interested party for the place. It should be remembered that the athlete also asked the judge to let him put the mansion up for sale to cover his debts, this request was accepted and that is why he has come to this new request.

In October of last year, the property entered the real estate market for $6 million, a figure that was well above what specialists said the property was worth. The lack of interested parties caused its price to be lowered twice. In January of this year, it was available for $4.5 million, and it has now reached $3.95 million.

Thanks to Biermann’s new petition, it is now known that the couple has only received one offer for the residence in almost a year. The interested party was willing to pay $3.5 million, but TV star Kim Zolciak refused to accept this figure.

It should be noted that the couple’s idea is to be able to cover all of the debts they have, including the mortgage on the property they bought in 2012. In the same application, Biermann explains that the $3.5 million dollars that they offered would minimally serve to cover the $1.32 million dollars that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has on the house, the $2.2 million dollars that they owe the bank that gave them the loan for the purchase, and an additional lien of $250,000 dollars.

The former American football player claims that his ex-partner did not want to accept this figure because although it would cover his main debts, it would not be enough to buy a new house. He also claims that Zolciak has not reduced his millionaire lifestyle, despite being bankrupt.

What is also true is that if they do not sell the property within a month it will be mortgaged, which will leave the couple with fewer options to cover their obligations, including the lawyers who are in charge of their divorce.
