María Fernanda Beltrán Figueroa became Miss Mexico 2024 on September 7 at a gala held in Cancun, hosted by Jacqueline Bracamontes and Carlos Adyan.
With the Sinaloa band, the beauty queen will be in charge of representing her country in a very special edition, since Mexico City will be the venue for the contest in November.
The winner of the contest is known to be a 24-year-old young woman from Culiacán.
In addition to her vast experience in beauty pageants, she has a degree in Marketing and Communication.
Another factor that makes her attractive for Miss Universe 2024 is that in addition to Spanish, she is fluent in English and French, making her a polyglot.
If we talk about pageants, María Fernanda Beltrán is a woman with a long career and many triumphs, as she was Ambassador Sinaloa 2022, Miss Mesoamerica Riviera Maya 2023, International Queen of the Pacific 2023, Miss Grand Mexico 2023 and Miss Universe Sinaloa 2024.
Campaign against cyberbullying
One of the things the new Miss Mexico has worked on is cyberbullying, which she has suffered and has had to learn to deal with.
“I was brutally attacked on social media and that is where I learned what it means to be both a victim and a perpetrator. Understanding this is not only in a book, but also through advice from women who have experienced it,” she said in an interview reported by Hola! magazine.
She also commented: “I would say to all the women who have suffered cyberbullying: I understand you; your problems and mine are the same, remember that with me you have a friend, an ally.”
A Mexican queen prepared by Venezuelans
When she participated in Miss Grand, the young woman was trained in Venezuela to strengthen her attitude on the catwalk and other areas in which a miss needs to stand out.
In an interview with Últimas Noticias, he spoke about his experience in the South American country: “Each teacher is different and has his own technique to teach you. I worked in Mexico for almost two years, without stopping.”
