Colombian singer Karol G said goodbye to the characteristic pink tone of her hair, which accompanied her during the last few months, after revealing her new and improved look.

It was on September 7 that the 33-year-old singer was captured at the UBS Arena, located in Belmont Park in Elmont, New York, on the occasion of the rehearsals she carried out for her participation in the 2024 MTV Music Awards, which will be held on September 11.

At the event, the South American singer was photographed sporting her new hair color, which featured leaving out pink in favor of black, platinum blonde locks.

Similarly, and unlike the characteristic loose hairstyle that she used to show in her shows, the singer had an updo that showed off her face in its entirety.

Why did Karol G change her look?

Despite Karol G’s new look going viral, the Colombian artist has not yet commented on the matter. As a result, some users have pointed out that the singer may have used a kind of wig to avoid revealing her new style yet.

Likewise, it has been mentioned that the interpreter of “Tusa” could have revealed a “fake look” with the intention of confusing people and showing her true image during her participation in the MTV VMA’s 2024.

In recent days, prior to the recent images of the Colombian, a series of photographs of the same artist were released in which, without revealing her face and hair, she was seen performing various exercises.

Given this, and due to another image, where only the singer’s face can be seen, there was speculation about a possible change of look in the South American because in this same image, a slight black lock could be seen in one of the corners of the photograph.

Regarding Karol G’s participation in one of the most important awards in the music industry in the United States, the Colombian singer will delight those present for the second consecutive year with her song “Mi Ex Tenía Razón.”

In addition to her show, the “QLONA” singer will compete in the “Best Latin” category, with the same song that she will sing, against great representatives of Latin music such as Bad Bunny, Peso Pluma, Rauw Alejandro as well as Shakira herself.

The ceremony will take place on September 11.
