Indiana Fever WNBA player Caitlin Clark and Los Angeles Lakers legend Earvin “Magic” Johnson have expressed their support for Vice President Kamala Harris’ candidacy following her debate with Donald Trump for the presidency of the United States.

Clark made his intentions clear when he showed his support with a like on the post that world-famous singer Taylor Swift made on Instagram on Tuesday night.

The message spoke directly of Swift’s support for Harris, the Democratic Party candidate, which Clark joined in with and was immediately seen as an addition to the goal of Joe Biden’s replacement.

Despite the show of support, Clark’s position remains curious. He is a native of Iowa, where the Republican and conservative position has historically marked the tendency of the majority of its inhabitants.

In addition, a factor that may have sealed his decision to support Harris was that Indiana Pacers assistant and Clark’s partner, Luke McCaffery, had promised earlier this year that he would support the Democratic candidate during an Instagram post.

Similarly, Magic Johnson took to social media to talk about the debate, explaining that he loved the fact that Harris had been completely calm and responsible in her statements in the face of Trump’s attacks during the meeting with the media.

“I love the fact that Vice President Harris is compassionate and wants a government for all people regardless of race, language, sexual orientation or party lines,” the former Lakers MVP said.

Other figures who also came out in support of Harris were Kylie Kelce, wife of the recently retired Jason Kelce, while the also partner of golfer Brooks Koepka, Jena Sims Koepka, both liked Swift’s post.
