Chrissy Metz’s story is similar to that of many other Hollywood stars. The actress told Architectural Digest magazine that she knew her current home was the ideal one from the moment she visited it for the first time. After the purchase, she made a renovation that she now shows off in the magazine.
It should be noted that during his search he was not only looking for luxury and comfort, but also security and privacy, since his previous house had been robbed and he did not want to repeat the experience. His current house is located in a closed area of Los Angeles, which was certainly a plus.
The structure of the property stands out for its Spanish colonial style. The main house has an area of 5,704 square feet. In other words, a large house.
Although she fell in love with the details of the property, she still wanted to renovate it so that all the spaces in the house would suit her tastes and needs. For this job, Metz hired designers Krista Schrock and David John Dick, from DISC Interiors.
During her conversation with ‘Architectural Digest’, the ‘This Is Us’ actress expressed her happiness for this large house. She explains that she spent her childhood and youth in a very small house, and without a doubt her new home is the result of her work and a dream come true.
One of the most beautiful details of the property is its curved staircase with mosaics on the steps and iron railing.
Other features of the property include arched doorways, hardwood and rustic tile floors, exposed beam wood ceilings, wood window frames and more.
On the other hand, the kitchen has white cupboards, marble countertops, stainless steel appliances and wooden benches.
