Rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs has filed a new lawsuit alleging sexual assault, inhumane treatment and physical abuse by singer Dawn Richard, a former member of the group Danity Kane.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Richard claims she was manipulated and abused while participating in the MTV show ‘Making The Band’, produced by Diddy.

Richard also recounted that the music mogul beat her on several occasions, forced her to rehearse for long periods without sleep, and subjected her to cruel treatment.

The suit includes allegations of sexual assault between 2009 and 2011, when the producer repeatedly groped her while she was naked in his dressing room.

“Mr. Combs frequently slapped Ms. Richard’s buttocks and often made comments about her body, stating that she was ‘too skinny,’” the complaint reads.

Richard also claimed to have witnessed a reported incident in 2009 where he saw Combs, allegedly under the influence of drugs, throw Cassie Ventura against a wall, strangle her and drag her down a flight of stairs at his Los Angeles residence. In another episode, he saw him throw a frying pan of boiling eggs at her while yelling insults at her.

Richard, known for her career and her work with the group Danity Kane, is seeking compensatory damages for mental pain, anguish and emotional suffering, as well as for Combs to cover her attorneys’ fees.

The case adds to a series of sexual assault lawsuits facing “Diddy” Combs, who has repeatedly denied the allegations.

The case has attracted significant attention in the media and among fans of both public figures. The situation is expected to develop further as the relevant legal proceedings are carried out.
