MTV VMAs 2024: These are the looks that are standing out on the black carpet

The 2024 MTV VMAs will be presented today, an awards show that will be broadcast on the Univision network and hosted by Alejandra Espinoza. The ceremony itself will begin at 8PM on Univision, but before any awards are given out, these are the celebrities who arrived punctually to the black carpet: Karol G, Rauw Alejandro, Danna, Anitta, Chappell Roan and Lenny Kravitz among others.

For now, we can tell you that among the worst dressed, the names of Karol G, Rauw Alejandro and Addison Rae stand out; with a white bra, extremely strange and not at all flattering.

These types of awards allow celebrities from the music industry to use all their creativity to appear with bizarre proposals. Here the dress code is not usually so strict and many of those who have already paraded seem to have understood, versus others who really seem to be very lost.

For now, we have two colors that remain firm as a trend for the night: white, black and black.

Among the best dressed of the night, so far we have: Danna, Tiago PZK, Anitta, Lisa, Chappell Roan, Thalía and Lenny Kravitz understood the fashionista mission, while others like Karol G surprised with their beauty and change of look, but not with their wardrobe.

One of those who has just walked the red carpet is Thalía, proving that she knows perfectly well that the bizarre is what rules at this award ceremony.

While Sabrina Carpenter decided to be the “elegant goddess of the night” with a pearly dress, in total contrast to Shawn Mendes who posed in a completely black suit, but casual and yes, with the correct size.

This evening will have some important moments, such as the recognition that Katy Perry will receive. The singer will be honored with the “Video Vanguard”, an award that has been received before by other greats of music such as: Michael Jackson, David Bowie, Madonna, Peter Gabriel, REM, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Beyoncé, Rihanna, P!nk, Nicki Minaj.
