British singer Adele is reportedly preparing to enter the world of acting for the first time in her career.
According to a source close to the 36-year-old actress, who spoke to the Daily Mail, Adele has reportedly begun specialized training with a well-known Hollywood coach through intensive acting classes.
According to the insider, the Englishwoman is more than committed to this task due to her “responsibility” when devoting herself to a new task: “When she commits to something, she does it 100%.”
Adele prepares to make her film debut
The revelation that Adele is supposedly preparing to make her acting debut takes on added weight due to the upcoming break that the European artist will take after finishing her residency in Las Vegas on November 23.
Similarly, and as mentioned by the same source, the singer has begun to inform, through her team, that she is ready to get involved in the film industry.
She has instructed her team to inform major studios and film producers that she is ready to take on film roles.”
This is not the first time that Adele’s name has been linked to the seventh art. In previous interviews, the British artist herself has shown her interest in venturing into cinema, and even theater. In fact, and through an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, in December 2023, the singer revealed that she had a particular role that she would like to play but that the creator was not ready to start with the script.
In the same interview, the “Hello” singer, in addition to not revealing any kind of clue or signal regarding this project, also mentioned that she is not interested in starring in any kind of biopic or musical due to the “obviousness” regarding her career as a singer and her possible role in the corresponding project.
“Would you like me to sing as myself? Because then I would sound like me, not like the character. So I wouldn’t do it. But that’s all they’ve offered me, really.”
Regarding her musical career, the singer made it clear, after her most recent show in Munich, Germany, as part of another residency, that she plans to take a long break and live the life she has built for herself over the past 7 years. Likewise, and in a previous interview with ZDF, she mentioned that she has no plans to launch any kind of musical project in the near future.
According to the Daily Mail, Adele is reportedly returning to the UK to raise her son Angelo and enjoy her recent engagement to sports agent Rich Paul.
