The rivalry between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi is one of the most famous not only in the history of football, but in sport in general.
Which is logical when you consider that we are talking about two of the most outstanding players of all time. Both have broken all kinds of records, beaten numerous marks and won multiple trophies. In the process, they have faced each other in many different scenarios, video games being one of them.
EA SPORTS FC 25 has left us with a very unique new mark, and that is that the worst Messi in history is still better than Cristiano Ronaldo. At least with his average rating.
If we look at the first three editions, we see two interesting details: on the one hand, Messi’s three averages were worth less than EA SPORTS FC 25, and on the other, Ronaldo was far superior to him in averages.

This would leave the score at 5-12 in favour of Messi, who not only has had a better average in many more Electronic Arts games, but in his worst version in 15 years he has been able to surpass the Portuguese again. All things considered, Ronaldo was superior to Messi at the same age. When the Portuguese was 37 years old, like Messi now, his average was 91 points.
