Sonoran singer Christian Nodal decided to come forward to clarify and defend his position in the face of criticism he has received for not having publicly congratulated his daughter Inti on her birthday. This came after some social media users commented that Ángela Aguilar’s husband did not dedicate a message or post to the little girl he had during his relationship with Cazzu during her first year of life.
In response to these criticisms, Nodal published a video in which he expresses his discontent and attacks people who “interfere” in his private life.
“They’re already asking why I don’t post a photo of my daughter on her birthday, why I don’t congratulate my daughter on social media. I’m well aware of this, I’m talking about the most prestigious media, even the lowest, clown influencers, even the real ones. How they use an image of my daughter to say: ‘this bastard doesn’t want to pay child support. They make up so much shit that I don’t have the stomach to read it,’” said the Mexican.
“A post, even if it is made with all your heart, even if it is made with all your best energy, is a mess in the comments. Why would I expose my daughter to that? I don’t want to, if others do it, it’s fine, I don’t have the stomach for that,” she added.
Christian Nodal emphasized that the absence of a public congratulations does not reflect the love and dedication he feels for his daughter. He also said that what is really important to him is that Inti knows the efforts he makes to spend time with her and that he must work hard so that the baby does not lack anything in life.
“I think what really matters is when my baby opens the family photo album and sees that her daddy is always there, that he always tries to be there for her and that he always flies 24, 26, 28 hours to be able to share days with her.
I don’t understand why she should post photos or videos, she’s a baby. The important thing is that she understands that her daddy has to work so that the beautiful parties like the one we had happen, so that there is no lack of clothes, food, so that she lives in a nice place, that she has security, that she travels well, that she doesn’t lack anything, I think that’s where love comes from, not from a post,” she said.

As expected, Nodal’s message has generated a strong controversy, as while some of his followers agree with his actions and have shown their support and understanding, others continue to question the lack of a public display of affection.
