Eliminations are becoming more difficult on Telemundo’s reality show La Isla: Desafío Extremo, and this Monday it was Colombian actor Sebastián Caicedo’s turn to be banished.

The event greatly moved his team, the Panthers, who cried because Carmen Villalobos’ ex-player will no longer play in the competition that is being filmed in Turkey.

The artist remained very controlled despite the situation and tried to encourage his companions. “I told God not to give me a test like that, I’ve been in a bad way for a long time, you know what, I’m really bad with my tendonitis and as soon as I applied force, it pricked me, it gave me an electric shock and I let go,” he said.

To say goodbye to him, the participants began to applaud and chant: “Sebas, I’m coming to you, Sebas, I’m coming to you.” With this, they showed the great affection they have for him.

“Today I woke up praying to God like every day, asking him for strength to face this moment, I asked him to be a challenge that would go against what I have been suffering for more than a month, he brought me the same injury that he got me in the Exatlón, which was chronic tendonitis. I don’t want to make excuses, but I could barely even close my hand,” he said about the moment when he failed and lost in this game.

Sebastián Caicedo believes that everything was meant to be like this. “That only means one thing, that I came to the island with a purpose, the island left me with a great life experience, I came with many questions and left with many answers, but I came with a purpose that I wanted to find and that purpose was to talk about the love of Jesus, I think I am leaving with a seed in each of the hearts, not only of my companions, but of the people.”

The actor believes that he has made friends from this experience and that is something that nourishes him. “Guys, really keep competing, looking each other in the eye, with clear, healthy competition and above all, let the one who deserves it win without stepping on anyone.”

The competition on La Isla: Desafío Extremo is approaching its climax and, after such intense weeks, it will be known who will win the $200,000 cash prize.
