Atlante’s midfielder and star player, Christian ‘Hobbit’ Bermúdez, returned after the fracture in his tibia and fibula that he suffered last Saturday, which will keep him off the field for a while until he is fully recovered.

Through a video on his social media, the 37-year-old veteran player thanked all his fans for the constant displays of support and messages he has received since the day of the injury, when he received a hard tackle from Luis Díaz Bustillos of Dorados Sinaloa.

“I feel very well, very optimistic and motivated, looking forward to a great rehabilitation. But, first of all, I want to thank all the fans for their displays of affection, I have received very nice messages, very nice words, a lot of support helps me a lot to move forward, right now we are all together,” he said.

The Hobbit, who once defended the colors of the Águilas of Club América in Liga MX, assured that he will do everything possible to recover quickly and thus be able to step onto the field again to help his team in the Aztec competition.

“I want to thank the clubs that sent their good vibes, their messages, a lot of unity is what we need today and I thank them very much,” he emphasized in his statements.

“I thank my club, Atlante, Mr. Emilio (Escalante), Jorge (Santillana), Borita (Daniel Alcántar), all the coaching staff, the staff, my teammates, I am very grateful for all their support. As you can see, I am in perfect shape, this will pass. Those who know me know that it will pass, so rest assured, I will give it my all,” he concluded.
