Karla Martínez, from the Despierta América program, broadcast by Univision, spoke about how comfortable she feels with her gray hair, a clear message of acceptance for those women who struggle with this.

On the television show, the Mexican spoke about how she currently dyes her hair to cover some spots, but when she gets older, she would have no problem showing off all of her white hair.

“I need a touch-up now, I have grey hairs, would you ever get rid of them or not? I would, I think that when I do get my hair white, I would love to leave it all white because there is a process involved,” she said.

Chef Yisus also spoke about this situation: “They started to appear on my beard, but it happens in parts.”

Karla Martínez believes that gray hair, at the end of the day, is an experience and that is why she sees no problem in letting it go: “Look, if there is one thing that is certain and blessed, it is that we can grow old.”

This topic caused several messages among the Despierta América audience, mostly supporting the host: “I’m happy because I got one,” “At almost 45, I’m already letting them show,” “I went through that process, it was hard, but it was worth the effort. I love my gray hair,” “Very good for you, I like gray hair too.”

Others wrote: “Since I saw my first grey hair, I stopped dyeing it and kept my natural curls. I love them.” “As long as I can, I will continue to dye my grey hair. I’d rather be dead than plain. I love you all. I don’t miss your shows.”

There were also those who responded to Jomari Goyso, who also spoke about the subject: “Jomari always wants people to be natural, but Jomari, you have to understand that there are people who don’t feel good that way. They don’t like it and you have to respect that too. And it doesn’t mean that they don’t feel good about themselves or don’t accept themselves. It’s just that if they can improve the way they look, there’s no reason not to do it. It’s like clothes, you dress well to look good.”
