NBA star Derrick White ended up being attacked and hit in the head last Saturday. The incident was recorded on video and has gone viral in the last few hours.

However, Derrick ended up being attacked and hit in the head. The incident was recorded on video and is now making headlines. According to TMZ Sports, the incident occurred in the second quarter.

White reportedly got into a verbal dispute with some opposing fans. In the third quarter, the argument escalated, turning violent and resulting in an assault. In the video, a man wearing a CSU cap and a Utah jersey can be seen throwing his arm toward the side of the basketball star’s head.

In the clip, you can see the moment when the blow knocks White’s cap off. At that point, everything got out of control. Bystanders had to intervene to grab the fan and the Celtics star, who was eager to respond to the attack.

There was some pushing and shoving, but in the end everything calmed down and the altercation did not escalate further thanks to the intervention of those present and the prompt arrival of the authorities.

White played at the University of Colorado from 2015 to 2017. He is coming off winning the NBA title in July and the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics in July.
