Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti was asked about the performance of Endrick, who stood out in the team’s victory over Stuttgart in the Champions League and has attracted a lot of attention recently.
Endrick, just 18, surprised everyone by revealing he had gotten married, prompting comments, including some in a joking tone from Ancelotti.
The Italian coach praised the young Brazilian’s bravery, highlighting a crucial play in the match: “Endrick had courage and in the last ball of the match the best solution was to take advantage of the three-on-one counterattack. He was convinced of scoring and he did very well. He found the most complicated solution but it worked out well for him.”
Without going into the player’s private life, Ancelotti also made a humorous comment about his recent marriage, mentioning that “he has shown himself to be very brave in every sense.”
Another key player in the match was Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who was instrumental in making saves for Real Madrid at critical moments. Ancelotti did not hesitate to praise him, saying that “at the moment he is the best in the world but I have had goalkeepers of a very high level.”
