American singer Cher will headline an all-female lineup during the highly anticipated return of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
Through its official Instagram account, the famous lingerie brand shared a short clip of one of the singer’s most iconic songs, “Believe,” in which it noted that Cher is the perfect artist to liven up an event of this magnitude due to her impact and significance in the world of fashion.
It’s a woman’s world, so it’s understandable that you can’t have a fashion show without the mother of fashion: @cher. We are beyond excited to announce that she will officially perform at the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on October 15th.

Within the same post, the company in charge also revealed that Cher will be accompanied by other great female artists: “But she will not be alone… Stay tuned, more announcements are coming to complete our first female lineup.”
Proof of this was the revelation made by singer Tyla, just a few hours after Cher’s announcement, who will accompany the American legend during the parade.
Finally, and within the message of Tyla’s name reveal, it was mentioned that one last female singer will be announced for the October show.
Regarding the news about this year’s show, which has not been held since 2018, the presence of other big stars of international modeling has also been confirmed, such as Tyra Banks, Candice Swanepoel, Gigi Hadid, Taylor Hill, Imaan Hammam, Grace Elizabeth, Paloma Elsesser, Mayowa Nicholas, Devyn García, among others.
Victoria’s Secret is back
Following the 2018 edition, the famous Victoria’s Secret fashion show went on hiatus due to growing anger over the brand’s lack of inclusivity as well as perpetuation of beauty standards.
It was not until 2022 that the same organization made a comeback of sorts with the launch of “The Tour,” a Prime Video special that compiles images and videos from previous editions.
Finally, it was last May that the brand revealed its definitive return with an event that will seek to reflect “who we are today,” in addition to the “glamour, catwalks, wings, musical entertainment and more” of the show.
The 2024 edition will take place on October 15 in New York City.
