Luis Miguel’s current tour, “Luis Miguel Tour 2023-2024,” has not only confirmed the singer’s status as a legend of Spanish-language music, it has also allowed him to become the Latin artist with the highest-grossing tour in history.

According to the specialized website Billboard Boxscore, the 54-year-old artist’s tour has raised more than $318 million dollars with the sale of more than 2 million tickets during the first 146 concerts of his tour, which began in August 2023 in Argentina.

According to Boxscore, this has given him the title of the highest-grossing Latin tour in history, a milestone that could be increased due to the series of concerts that the actor also has left until November of this year.

Luis Miguel consolidates his position at the top

Even without an exact earnings figure, due to missing concerts and the lack of data on his most recent performances, Luis Miguel has already left behind the previous record for a Latin artist, which belonged to Bad Bunny with his “World’s Hottest Tour,” with $314.1 million dollars.

Similarly, the interpreter of “México en la Piel” sent Karol G’s successful tour, “Mañana Será Bonito Tour,” to third place, which ended last July with a profit of $313.1 million dollars.

Despite the Mexican singer’s visible success, it is important to mention that Luis Miguel’s current tour consists of 178 shows, carried out in a period of just over a year through various territories such as America and Europe, surpassing Karol G’s tour by more than 100 shows, who offered 62 concerts in the same continents as the Mexican and in a similar period of time.

Regarding Bad Bunny, Luis Miguel exceeds, by more than 130 shows, the number of shows that the Puerto Rican offered in 2022, 43 shows, only in the American continent.

The above does not eliminate the great achievement of the interpreter of “La Bikina”, who, unlike Bad Bunny and Karol G, who carried out their tours within the framework of the release of new albums, has not released new material for years.

The numbers obtained by the Mexican singer, so far, have also allowed him to surpass his own records, achieving with “Luis Miguel Tour 2023-2024” his highest-grossing tour of his career.

Regarding the number of tickets sold, 2,194 million, Luis Miguel is very close to surpassing the historic goal, belonging to Karol G with 2,363 million, thanks to his more than 20 concerts remaining in Mexico and the United States during 2024.
