Telemundo has recently made changes, specifically in Al Rojo Vivo, a program in which they announced the departure of journalist Azucena Cierco, known for her long career in the television industry.

The communicator, who was also part of the program El Gordo y la Flaca, joined the Telemundo network for the program Levántate, which later gave way to Hoy Día.

With her experience, she changed from presenter to reporter of different shows and it was in Al Rojo Vivo where she had a major participation in recent years.

On her Instagram account, Azucena Cierco has a large community, with more than 150,000 followers, with whom she shares moments of her daily life or the participation she had in other programs such as Hoy Día or La Mesa Caliente.

How old is Azucena Cierco and where did she study?

The former Telemundo journalist is 52 years old and studies at the University of the Americas Puebla in Cholula, Mexico.

Regarding her love life, she had a marriage with Javier Cierco that lasted until 2011 and in addition, the Mexican is the mother of a young man whom she named Santiago.

Why did you leave Telemundo?

The network sent a statement to El Diario de NY confirming the departure of the talented Mexican.
In the message they did not go into detail about the reasons why she will not continue on the show hosted by Lourdes Stephen and Jessica Carrillo, but they did thank her for all the work she did over the years on this production.

“Azucena Cierco is a highly talented entertainment reporter, characterized by the dedication and professionalism she brings to each of her projects, from her reports for Al Rojo Vivo to her collaborations with other programs and television specials. We thank her for her valuable contributions to the network and wish her the best in her future projects,” they said.

For now, the reporter has not published any message to talk about this change in her professional life.
