Mexican actor Fernando Colunga made a public reappearance on a television show less than a year after his last appearance, in which he revealed various aspects of his personal and professional life as well as the reason why he has decided to stay away from social media.
Through the show Al Rojo Vivo, on the Telemundo network, the 58-year-old artist was questioned about his current series “El Conde: Amor y Honor,” which, according to the presenters, has become one of the most successful on the Hispanic channel in its history.
In light of this, the interpreter of “María la del Barrio” mentioned that the good reception of “El Conde” is the result of a joint effort that seeks to ensure that the public “has a good time, that they have fun, that they get excited, that they suffer, that they live this story.”
In the same conversation, the actor reaffirmed his goal of being close to people to talk because he does not use social networks: “I don’t have any. I go out everywhere, and when people approach me I talk and listen to what they say. I think that is the best way to be truly close to the people who like your work.”
Despite the above, Colunga said that he “respects” this type of platform a lot, however, he is also aware that many untrue rumors are spread on them, which is why they lack seriousness and professionalism.
I respect social media a lot, I don’t use it, but I understand it. I come from a world where I believe that things should be taken seriously and respected, and sometimes I see that gossip becomes news, everyone shares it and it makes me laugh a lot, I say: ‘That’s not journalism or information’.
Did Fernando Colunga confirm his paternity?
On a personal level, the actor of “El Secreto de la Familia Greco” was questioned about the current situation he is experiencing, which has been “inundated” by dozens of rumors and news about alleged paternity.
In light of this, and following his general “rule” of not talking about his private life, Colunga mentioned that he is living a stage of great stability that he is enjoying to the fullest: “I am very happy, life has treated me well, I am very content, I am very grateful for life, for the way things have turned out, for my family, for the moment I am living. I think that is reflected, it gives you energy, it gives you another perspective.”
Fernando Colunga’s current series, “El Conde,” is in the final phase of its broadcast on Telemundo.
