After weeks of speculation and small announcements by Rosalía herself, the Spanish singer revealed the first big news regarding the release of her next album.

Through her official Instagram account, the 31-year-old singer shared a series of images, as she usually does, that show part of the creative process she is currently undertaking.

However, it was one photograph in particular that caught the attention of her followers and music lovers due to the mysterious symbols that the Spanish singer left behind.

In this image, you can see, on a notebook, various similar signs that clearly allude to the word Omega. To reinforce this, Rosalía titled her publication with the same term through various emojis. This, logically, generated all kinds of reactions among the Catalan’s followers, who mentioned that this term could become the title of her new album or the first song she will release.

What will Rosalía’s new album be about?

The revelation of the word Omega, which is often used to indicate the end, the ultimate limit of a set or the last, contrasts with the term Alpha, which refers to the beginning of things, and which was used by Rosalía herself in her song “ABCDEFG”, included in her latest album “Motomami”.

The above could indicate that her new album would be a way of “saying goodbye” or “ending” her musical stage that began with “Motomami” in 2022. However, it has also been mentioned, through social networks, that Rosalía would seek to get rid of some “stereotypes” in her music to welcome others.

In the same image, next to the notebook, you can also see a guitar, which reinforces the idea that Rosalía’s next album could take rock as its musical theme.

In previous months, the Spanish singer was part of the publication of the musician and renowned guitarist, Dylan Patrice Wiggins. In said publication, Wiggins can be seen playing the guitar while Rosalía watches him closely.

However, and so far, it is unknown if the interpreter of “Motomami” would direct her entire album within this genre or would only include one or more songs under this type of style.

Finally, and within the same publication by Rosalía, she also highlighted another image where you can see a computer monitor, which seems to be working on the editing of a musical piece. So far, the European artist has avoided mentioning or revealing more information about her next album.

In recent weeks, the “Hentai” singer released a collaboration with Korean singer Lisa under the name “New Woman.”
