“El Conde: Amor y Honor” is the telenovela that Fernando Colunga stars in alongside Chantal Andere, Ana Brenda Contreras and Marjorie de Sousa, among others. This Telemundo production presents a new version of “The Count of Monte Cristo.”

Laura Flores, Marjorie De Sousa, Lucia Méndez and Maribel Guardia are the “Accomplices” of ViX

The telenovela has been presented to the public as a period drama that, with the performances of its entire cast, has managed to captivate the attention of Spanish-speaking viewers in the United States, placing the production in first place in the ratings, according to Nielsen, surpassing Univision by 32% and 10% respectively, with an average of 1.1 million in total audience and 261,000 adults aged 18 to 49.

For this reason, Fernando Colunga visited the Al Rojo Vivo program where he spoke with Lourdes Stephen and Jéssica Carrillo, with the sole purpose of thanking the Hispanic public for their support and preference. The actor came on behalf of himself and the rest of his colleagues to tell the viewers that everything they do is to please and entertain them in equal measure.

“It is the public that we owe the opportunity for a product to reach this level, and in reality this visit of mine was just for that, to thank the entire technical team that worked hard hours with us… the services, hair, costumes, characterization, everyone who was there supporting us. But above all, the public, who is the one for whom all of us actors work,” said the Mexican actor.

Finally, Stephen asked for more Telemundo projects with Fernando Colunga, something to which the latter responded with sympathy but total honesty, claiming that this was something he could not promise. However, the results of his work indicate that the company should, for obvious reasons, seek to count on Colunga’s participation in future projects, since the public in fact connects with each and every one of his works.

Don’t miss the final stage of this production, which is soon approaching its grand finale, on Telemundo.
