Yailin, the most viral, has touched the hearts of many by expressing her deep connection with her mother, Wanda Díaz, during a recent interview with “En casa con Telemundo.” In an emotional moment, the Dominican singer was vulnerable and could not hold back her tears when talking about the influence and support her mother has had in her life and career.
Carlos Adyan asked her how things were with her mother, and she accepted that things are still at their worst between them: “My mom and I don’t have a great relationship right now.”
She also explained that she has nothing bad to say about ‘Wanda, the real viral’, so she simply has to thank her: “But she is my mother, whatever, and I love her and respect her and I will always continue to respect her. I am a girl who respects her elders a lot.”
The Dominican singer also added that there are no hard feelings against the person who gave her life and was with her during her growth: “I don’t hold anything against her.” In addition, Yailin ‘the most viral’ did not miss the opportunity to show her gratitude to Wanda. For this reason, she expressed: “I love her and thank you for giving me this size.”
The singer also mentioned that since she became a mother, her way of seeing things has changed and she ends up giving more recognition to everything: “My way of grieving, my way of being, I value things more. Life is borrowed and I value many things that I didn’t value before.” However, she couldn’t hold back her urge to cry when touching on that subject and mentioning her deceased grandmother.
These kinds of moments highlight the humanity behind the artists and the importance of family in their journeys. It also shows how emotions can be a powerful driving force in life and in music.
