Although the winning lottery numbers are selected at random, experts have revealed certain patterns that could influence your chances of winning. Surprisingly, some numbers seem to be less favorable than others.
According to the popular TikTok channel @makeitshinemoney, run by Monisha and Shirley, there is a strategy to follow if you want to improve your odds in the lottery.
In a recent post that has garnered nearly 10,000 views, the hosts of the ‘Make It Shine Money’ podcast shared their top tips on which numbers to avoid.
One of the main mistakes players make is choosing numbers related to personal dates, such as birthdays or anniversaries.
“These numbers are usually between 1 and 31, which, although they have the same probability of being selected, increases the possibility of having to share the prize with other players,” the experts explained.
Since October 2015, there are six numbers that have been the least drawn in lottery draws.
These numbers include 30, 6, 21, 48, 43, and 18.
Although the draw is random, these numbers seem to have fewer occurrences, so some players might consider avoiding them.
On the other hand, the most commonly selected numbers in the lottery include 37, 52, 58, 39, 42 and 27.
Playing these numbers could increase your chances of matching with other players, which could mean sharing the prize.
In addition to paying attention to the numbers, the podcast hosts also recommend participating in less popular lottery games, as these typically have fewer participants, increasing the odds of winning.
