Heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury became one of the most affected figures after Anthony Joshua’s knockout loss to Daniel Dubois due to the huge amount of money he lost as a result of the incident.
The ‘Gypsy King’ could not hide his concern and even stood up from his seat during the fight; in scenes captured on television during the fight he can be seen revealing to Oleksandr Usyk that he had lost a huge sum of money due to Joshua’s defeat.
“That cost me $150 million, because of that fool. He’s screwed now. Turki, you better pay me back already,” said the former world heavyweight champion, revealing that he had placed a huge financial bet on the British fighter.
The duo of Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua is one of the most important in England today, being world stars for the last decade, although they never faced each other in the heavyweight category to be able to paralyze boxing fans with such a fight.
Despite this, the possibility of facing each other in the ring is something that is not out of the question yet due to the current situation of both fighters; Joshua has accumulated his fourth defeat in five years and Fury lost his undefeated record against Oleksandr Usyk last May in an intense clash.
