They don’t call him ‘Money’ for nothing. Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s relationship with luxury and eccentricity is no coincidence. Now, the former boxer is spending more than $300,000 on what he considers “a new toy.” It’s a luxurious Mercedes G Brabus 700 Tiffany Edition SUV.
Several weeks ago, Mayweather shared a video of his new acquisition on Instagram. “One of my new toys. Money Team Limited Edition Tiffany Brabus,” he wrote on the social network where he has almost 31 million followers.
In the post, the American shares several clips in which he shows off his new car. In the first one, he shows it off from the outside. Later, he showed off its blue upholstery details and all the accessories on the dashboard. At the end of one of the posts, you can see a bag full of bundles of $100 bills.
This special edition also features carbon fiber details. The hood is made of this material. Its base price for the standard version is $226,000.
However, Mayweather’s version is the limited edition Tiffany that could easily exceed $300,000 due to the additional options and exclusive details it features.
In any case, the former boxer did not buy a run-of-the-mill car. The Mercedes G Brabus 700 Tiffany Edition has an 8-cylinder engine. It can also reach a top speed of 240 mph and accelerate from 0 to 100 mph in just 4.9 seconds.
In this sense, this is not the first time that Mayweather has spared no expense when it comes to giving an original touch to any of the cars in his collection. In 2023, he spent more than $200,000 on making modifications to his Rolls-Royce limousine.
