Princess of Wales Kate Middleton has begun to gradually resume her royal duties since announcing that she had completed chemotherapy treatment as part of her cancer treatment. After a necessary period of rest to focus on her health, Kate is ready to return to public life and her commitments to the royal family.
This new chapter marks Kate’s renewed commitment to her work and her desire to continue making a positive impact on the lives of others, demonstrating that the Duchess is excited to resume her community initiatives.
Prince William’s wife met with Buckingham Palace officials on Tuesday to discuss her traditional annual Christmas carol concert, which is usually held at Westminster Abbey in early December.
“The Princess of Wales, joint patron of the Prince and Princess of Wales Royal Foundation, held a meeting at Windsor Castle this morning,” the Daily Telegraph reported, citing a record dated Tuesday at the Court Circular, which records the engagements of members of the British Royal Family.
The meeting is the second official activity for Kate, 42, since she announced the end of her chemotherapy in a video message on September 9.
On 17 September, she met with members of her organisation, the Centre for Early Years, and palace staff at Windsor Castle to discuss a project.
In this initiative, Middleton examined how “early childhood experiences are often the cause of today’s most difficult social challenges, such as addiction, family breakdown, poor mental health, suicide and homelessness,” according to the Royal Family’s official website.
Kate made two more public appearances in 2024, first at Trooping the Colour in mid-June and then at Wimbledon on 14 July.
Another event you could attend soon is Remembrance Day, one of the most solemn events within the holiday that honors all those who fell in service and veterans of the armed forces on November 10.
The last time she was photographed, although not officially, was on September 22. Kate and William were driving to the Crathie Kirk church, near Balmoral Castle.
The news of the end of her treatment has been received with great joy by the public and her followers, who have expressed their constant support during this difficult time. The royal family has maintained a united stance, providing unconditional support to Kate during her recovery.
