Actress Michelle Williams has decided she wants to profit from her mansion in Prospect Park South, Brooklyn, so it is now available on the real estate market for rent.
The property is available for $35,000 per month and will be available for rent starting in January of next year.
This is certainly a great opportunity for a millionaire who wants to live in Brooklyn to rent, as it is a historic house that was built in 1910. The property is known as ‘Tara of Brooklyn’.
Thanks to its main facade with a porch and impressive columns, this house is compared to the mansion in the classic film ‘Gone with the Wind’.
The actress, also known for being engaged to the late actor Heath Ledger, bought this house in 2015 for $2.5 million, but in the following years she dedicated herself to investing more money to make renovations to the place to keep it in good condition. The renovation was carried out by Matiz Architecture and Workstead Design.
Although changes have been made to the interior, those involved have tried to maintain much of the original design. Examples of the features that have been maintained include the grand main staircase, the curved windows and the porch at the entrance.
The main house spans 6,500 square feet on two floors with eight bedrooms, six full bathrooms, a foyer, living room, great room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and other amenities. There is also a gym and sauna.
In addition to the main house there is a garage with capacity for two vehicles.
Outside there are green areas with a terrace, a heated pool, a spa area, fountains and enough space to enjoy the outdoors.
