After 57 years, Cuba will return to Miss Universe and the person who will participate in the contest to represent the island is the model Marianela Ancheta, crowned this September 26.
On the final night of the beauty pageant, which was held in Hialeah, in the state of Florida, the Cuban representative was elected, who will travel to Mexico to compete with a large group of candidates.
In the contest, Marianela, 31 years old, wore the Central Region sash. During the contest she stood out for her beauty and height, being one of the tallest of the misses.
Her catwalk was also a success for many, as was the elegance she demonstrated with the red dress she wore on the night of her coronation.
