The Mexican singer Aleks Syntek revealed that the action he carried out a few months ago, where he threw a Karol G album into the toilet, caused serious problems in his career such as the cancellation of various shows.
During a recent interview with the Mexican media Info 7, the 54-year-old performer relived what happened during influencer Gabo Ramos’s podcast, where he declared that he was not a fan of the Colombian’s music, to the point of throwing out her most recent album, “Tomorrow Will Be Beautiful”, to a prop toilet.
It doesn’t fit me. I don’t identify with the songs. “I know she is loved by the entire community of kids, but she is not for someone my age.”
After this “incident”, the “Sex, Pudor y Lágrimas” interpreter received dozens of hateful comments on social networks. However, unbeknownst to most, what the Mexican singer did also caused him to cancel concerts in various countries such as Colombia and the United States.
Aleks Syntek has nothing against Karol G
In his recent talk, the music producer was also questioned about the way in which he faced this series of accusations. Given this, Syntek mentioned, in the first instance, that the podcast format was one of the causes of its effects because what was said in these programs is often “taken out of context” due to how long they can be.
After this, the Latin pop singer assured that everything that happened on that occasion was a joke, in addition to mentioning that he has nothing against Karol G.
It was a joke show, by Gabo Ramos… it was pure gossip. They took her out of context, as if I were running a campaign by throwing out this woman’s albums and my concerts were canceled in Colombia, in the United States, because the woman is very successful and many businessmen felt offended and it affected me greatly.”
Likewise, and within the same talk, the Mexican singer pointed out that the series of biased notes, by various media, were the cause of the bad moment he experienced in previous months.
So far, Karol G has not reacted or revealed information regarding Aleks Syntek’s previous and recent statements.
Currently, and after the completion of her successful tour “Mañana Sera Bonito Tour” last July in Madrid, Spain, and her subsequent presentation at the Rock in Rio Festival in recent days, the Colombian announced that she will move away from the stage in What remains of 2024.
Regarding Aleks Syntek, he will begin his Total Syntek USA Tour 2024 on October 28, in the city of San Diego. After this, the Mexican will give 4 more shows in other North American cities such as Anaheim, Los Angeles, Dallas and Houston.
