Alina Robert was chosen as the first finalist of Miss Universe Cuba, which was held this September 26 in Hialeah, Florida, in the United States.
For many, the Cuban was a great participant and that is why they thought she would win the crown of the contest. However, she suffered the same fate as when she participated in Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2014 and was behind Aleyda Ortiz, winner of that year.
On her Instagram account, she thanked those who trusted her and the work she did: “Here I am proud of the Cuban woman, I have the glory of having represented freedom for Cuba.”
After the beauty pageant’s decision was revealed, there were many comments about it. “How beautiful as a queen, I will not get tired of telling you that the representative of Cuba is you”, “Congratulations for your brilliant participation throughout the entire process, you are the ideal winner and last night you were the most beautiful, confident and exquisite.”
Others wrote: “You are already queen, never doubt that,” “For many the queen was you.”
