Sony Music, the singer Shakira’s record label, confirmed that “Soltera” is the new song with which the Colombian intends to have a new “female anthem.” The song, according to the company, has clear Afrobeat influences which allow it to be lively and danceable.

The song has a catchy chorus, easy to memorize: “I have the right to behave badly, to have a good time, I’m loose and now I can do whatever I want. “She has a great time single!”

The lyrics, in addition to being a full-blown declaration of intentions, are further proof that the singer is now living her moment of freedom with fun and that she doesn’t want to know anything about love for now.

She admits that she still has a “broken” heart, alluding to the theme of her friend Alejandro Sanz, but highlights that she is no longer willing to put up with infidels and much less wants to fall into the role of “the other”, which is why she sings loud and clear: “I got a phobia about love; “Dog write a screenshot for me and for his girlfriend.”

Collaborations!

In order to create a new female anthem, Shakira has had the collaboration of a large number of celebrities in the industry who did not hesitate to be present. In the music video, Anitta, Danna, Lele Pons and the models Shannon and Winnie Harlow appear alongside her.

I changed friends because those who were there only talked about him; “I had to learn the hard way that I have nothing to lose,” he says.

But the promotion of “Soltera” has also gone viral with another series of collaborations in which Shakira once again shares credits with Natti Natasha, Tini Stoessel, Greeicy, Eliane Gallero and Stef Roitman.

There is no further information about the official video at the moment, since Shakira has only released the audio version and the rest is limited to saying that it will be released soon.

The EFE news agency confirms that Shakira will soon begin her new musical tour which includes the United States and Canada, with performances in cities such as: Los Angeles, Miami, Toronto, Brooklyn and Chicago, among others.
