Hollywood star George Clooney has been left without one of his greatest jewels in Los Angeles, California. He has just sold the house he has owned since 1995 for $14.5 million dollars.
It was never reported about the actor’s intention to sell this property, located specifically in Studio City. However, ‘TMZ’ has assured that the actor found a new owner and that the real estate agent who represented him was Kurt Rappaport. Possibly the transaction was made outside the market.
At the moment it is also unknown whether the $14.5 million dollars he received is close or far from the figure that Clooney expected to receive from the beginning. But we must remember that the actor paid $2.2 million dollars for the place 29 years ago.
This residence is known as Clooney’s bachelor house, as he bought it a couple of years after separating from Talia Balsam and long before beginning his relationship with Amal Clooney. During all those years the place served as a setting for large parties, in which there were very important guests.
This entire transaction comes months after it was said that Clooney was asking $107 million for his impressive mansion in Lake Cuomo, Italy. Some time after this information was given, the same actor denied that he was selling the European mansion that has belonged to him since 2002.
The newly sold property occupies a 3.1 acre lot. Between the main house and the guest house is an expanse of 7,000 square feet of living space spread across several bedrooms, bathrooms and many amenities. The main house also includes a foyer, living room, great room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and other amenities.
In addition, there are also extensive green areas with a terrace, dining room, swimming pool, spa area, tennis court and other spaces ideal for enjoying the outdoors with family or friends.
