Actress Rebel Wilson has said “yes, I do” in an intimate ceremony with her partner, Ramona Agruma, two years and three months after they announced their relationship, in June 2022.
The wedding of Wilson, 44, and Agruma, 40, took place this Saturday in Sardinia, Italy, a close source exclusively told People magazine.
Choosing Italy as the location for the wedding has a special meaning for the newlyweds, since it was in that country where they spent their first vacation as an official couple.
Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma made their romance public in June 2022, after the “Senior Year” protagonist ended her four-month relationship with Jacob Busch.
“I thought I was looking for a Disney prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney princess #loveislove,” Wilson wrote on social media.
Their relationship was consolidated in February 2023 when the comedian proposed to the businesswoman in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland, California.
“We said Yes! Thank you Tiffany And Co. for the impressive ring and Bob Iger and the incredible team at Disneyland for bringing out this magical surprise!” he expressed on Instagram.
Over the past few months, the couple has maintained a positive public profile, appearing united at events and sharing details of their family life, especially after the arrival of Royce Lillian, Wilson’s daughter born through surrogacy in November 2022.
In a recent interview for ‘Australia’s The Morning Show’, the couple revealed that the baby’s arrival had “changed their lives.”
“It’s like if you start thinking about someone else instead of yourself, priorities change,” they said. “When you think, ‘Oh, I’d like to go get a massage,’ or something like that, instead you think, ‘No, I just want to spend time with her and be home,'” they added.
The wedding comes after Rebel Wilson’s recent directorial debut with “The Deb,” a film that premiered on September 14 during the Toronto International Film Festival.
