Guty Carrera is one of the participants of La Isla: Desafío Extremo. Within the competition he started as one of the big favorites, and that is how he seems to continue to be, even for part of the public, but not so for his former teammates.

Carrera has performed quite well within the show, but has largely wanted to keep a fairly low profile. It is as if he only seeks to meet each challenge, with the project itself and not let anything or anyone affect him on a personal and emotional level. Probably because in recent years he has been the focus of many due to his past romantic relationships with Brenda Zambrano and Isis Serrath.

However, this has not been of much use to him, because within the competition the way of being of Natalia Alcocer and Adrián di Monte does seem to have consumed him a little, to the point of having lost some appreciation from the fans, for how he has been the treatment within “Los Tiburones” towards Tony Garza and Cristina Eustace.

Now, it is striking that many of the celebrities who have already left the competition when choosing possible winners never mention Guty. They do argue that several women like Vivi, Cristina, Alba and Natalia can win. But they admit that if a man wins, the one who will take the victory will be none other than Adrián di Monte, none of them puts the actor of Peruvian origin in first place.
