Suddenly at 23 years old. This is how Shelby Daniele, university athletics star and promising American, died. The death information was confirmed by the athletic department of California Polytechnic State University.
Earlier this week our precious Shelby went to be with the Lord. Shelby was an incredible soul with so much positivity, ambition, and a zest for life. It was an honor to know and walk with her through the years.

At the moment no further details are known about the death of the young athlete or the causes. Social networks began to be flooded with a shower of farewell messages to Daniele, highlighting his quality as an athlete and student.
“Cal Poly Athletics is deeply saddened following the recent passing of former Cal Poly student-athlete Shelby Daniele,” read a statement on Instagram.
In this sense, the university listed the large number of sporting achievements that he had already achieved at the age of 23. “Shelby was an exceptional student-athlete on the Cal Poly track team for five years, graduating from Cal Poly this spring.”
“She was a six-time All-Big West honoree, two-time Big West champion, team captain and school record holder, but most importantly, she was an incredible teammate and leader,” they noted.
Another significant display of affection toward Shelby came from Buchanan High School track coach Brian Weaver. In an interview for the local media Your Central Valley, he sent a message of condolence.
“She was a big part of our family. It was a great training experience for me because we had to overcome some things together. “That is a memory I will have forever,” he said.
Who is Shelby Daniele?
Shelby Daniele stood out since high school. In 2019 he won the state championship in 2019, taking first place in the 200 meter race. He holds the school record for the indoor 200 meters at 24.69 seconds.
He also stood out in the 60 and 10 meter indoor categories. Daniele received a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the school. Specifically in Agriculture a couple of months ago. She served as captain of the Cal Poly team.
