An 82-year-old woman was pushed onto the New York Subway rails and another was stabbed in the torso.
These incidents of violence on the New York subway happened in Queens and Manhattan in just two days. Yesterday an elderly woman was pushed onto the train tracks at the Flushing-Main St station, the New York Police Department reported.
The incident occurred around noon on Wednesday. The victim was walking on the platform when an unknown man pushed her. The suspect fled in an unknown direction and was described as a man wearing a blue shirt. The victim was taken to Queens Presbyterian in stable condition, sources told PIX11News.
The day before, early Tuesday morning, a 28-year-old passenger was stabbed on a Metro platform in Midtown West. According to the NYPD, the attack occurred shortly after 3 a.m. on the Uptown platform of the C line at the 50th St station in Hell’s Kitchen.
According to dailynews, The young woman was standing on the platform when a man began to look at her and she complained to him. The suspect then approached and stabbed her in the torso with an unknown cutting instrument. Then he fled. The victim suffered a laceration to the torso and was taken to NYC Health+Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition, he reported. FoxNews.
