Television host Paulina Mercado reappeared on social media after announcing last Monday that she would undergo surgery to remove a cancerous tumor in her throat.
Through a video, the girlfriend of actor Juan Soler offered some details about her current state of health after having undergone surgery and took the opportunity to thank the expressions of affection she has received in light of the situation she is going through.
“I want to tell you that I feel incredible. “I feel super good, super happy, super grateful to you, super grateful to all the people for the expressions of affection they gave me, super grateful to the doctors, to the Ángeles Hospital, super grateful to God,” said Paulina.
“I tell you that the operation was a complete success. It was incredible to me. The tumor was a little big, but what do you think? They removed absolutely everything because it was encapsulated, so I no longer have anything in my body, nothing.”
“Fortunately, it did not pass the thyroid, it did not pass the lymph nodes, it did not pass the trachea. It was super on time and they just removed it. I understand that there is the thyroid and four parathyroids, which are four small glands. I only had one removed, but my body worked amazing. I no longer have anything, I am totally clean,” she added.

Finally, Paulina called to be attentive to the messages that the body manifests and highlighted the importance of carrying out check-ups in order to detect any anomaly in time.
“This is a gift, to be able to live and to be able to share it with you because I feel that it is really important to prevent, that it is a lesson, because I, for example, felt very tired and had a lump, but I said: ‘I’m tired from work, or Well, I’m tired because I get up early to exercise.’ He made many excuses and the little ball said: ‘well, it’s anything. It is important to always check ourselves.”
The 52-year-old host added that she hopes to be able to rejoin the “Sale el Sol” program in a few days.
