Last year it was reported that Erik Rubín and Andrea Legarreta had ended their relationship after almost 23 years together. Now the musician and producer has spoken about what his life has been like after leaving the house he shared with her and his children for years.
The television program ‘Ventaneando’ and other media outlets took advantage of the preview of ‘Jesucristo Superestrella’ in Mexico to ask him questions about his new stage of life. It must be remembered that Rubín took a long time to leave the family home after announcing their separation, since they assumed the end of their relationship as a transition and not as a separation.
In recent statements he once again highlighted that he was never in a hurry to leave his ex-partner’s house, and she did not demand it from him either. He confessed that he is currently living in an apartment, but that has not separated him from his daughters and Legarreta herself.
He also hinted that he was still visiting his old home, located in Pedregal: “There is my studio, there are my daughters, there is Andrea. There is no delusion that there is a great love, a great friendship, a great relationship.”
At the moment there are no details about what his new apartment is like and if he is sharing it with someone else.
Days before these statements, Mía Rubín, daughter of the producer and the actress, had confirmed that her father was no longer living with her and her sister. “The four of us are no longer under the same roof. “Right now my mom, my sister and I are here,” he said.
But she also confessed that Rubín goes to the house to eat every day and share with them. In addition to the fact that everything seems to indicate that he is going to work there, Mía also mentioned that her studio is at home.
The permanence of study at home and meals must also be part of the transition that Rubín mentioned at the time.
