An old photograph of Karol G with Sean “Diddy” Combs has begun to resurface on social media after the American singer was accused of multiple charges such as assault, sexual abuse, among many others, in recent months.
In this image, corresponding to September 26, 2018, the 33-year-old performer can be seen with Combs, and the American DJ and producer Khaled, in what appears to be the artist’s house.
Regarding the reason for the meeting, the Colombian did not provide further details other than the word “soon”, alluding to the fact that she would soon publish a collaboration.
What did people say about the image of Karol G and “Diddy” Combs?
Despite the marked difference in years between Karol G’s photograph and the current moment that the singer is experiencing, dozens of users have reacted to it through a series of comments in which they have criticized the alleged relationship that could exist between the Colombian and American.
Likewise, others have pointed out that the “Mañana Se Bonito” interpreter has not deleted the image from her official Instagram account.
However, despite the imminent meeting between the singers, it has not been officially revealed whether the singer could have participated in any of Combs’ controversial parties or if their relationship was merely work-related.
The above also generated the emergence of various theories, by various users, where it was mentioned that the South American’s career could have “taken off” due to the influence of Combs on her career.
Others, meanwhile, mentioned that Karol G’s current absence from the public scene, which was confirmed by the artist herself through a publication on Instagram where she revealed that she would retire from the stage for the rest of 2024, was due to that, supposedly, the Colombian wanted to get away because of her alleged relationship with Combs.
Currently, and after the conclusion of her successful tour “Mañana Sera Bonito Tour” last July, and her presentation at the Rock in Rio Festival, the Colombian singer has stayed away from the spotlight.
Like the Colombian, other artists, such as Maluma and J Balvin, have also been harshly criticized for a series of photographs in which they appear alongside the American rapper.
However, and as with what happened with Karol G, it is unknown if the Colombian singers had a close working relationship with Combs or were attendees at his parties.
