Los Angeles – Former US president and Republican candidate for the White House, Donald Trump, suggested this Friday that Israel should attack Iran’s nuclear facilities in response to its attacks.

“They asked (President Joe Biden) what he thought about Iran, would he attack Iran? And he replied: ‘As long as they don’t attack the nuclear material.’ “That’s what they want to attack, right?” Trump said at a public forum held in the town of Fayetteville, a town located near a major US military base.

“I think he was wrong about that,” added Trump, who believes that when Biden was asked that question, “the answer should have been: attack the nuclear material first and worry about the rest later.”

“It is the greatest risk we have, nuclear weapons, the power of nuclear weapons and the power of weapons,” therefore, “we have to be totally and absolutely prepared,” he stated.

The former US president relied on the military community of Fayetteville this Friday afternoon to try to stop the Democratic vote in the key state of North Carolina, currently controlled by the Democrats.

The event took place after his previous visit to the neighboring state of Georgia, also decisive in the November elections. There he visited one of the areas affected by Hurricane Helen and described the White House management response as “terrible.”

Trump will repeat this Saturday the rally in Butler (Pennsylvania), the place where he was the target of a notorious assassination attempt almost three months ago.

There he will give a speech on the same outdoor stage where on July 13 he was shot in the right ear while giving a rally, shot by a young sniper who was later shot dead.
