A few weeks ago Netflix premiered ‘Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story’, a new season of the series ‘Monsters’, created by Ryan Murphy, Ian Brennan, in which they focus on the history of the most famous murders in the United States. .

The first season focused on Jeffrey Dahmer, and has now told the story of brothers Lyle and Erik Menéndez, who were convicted in 1996 of the murder of their parents, José and Mary Louise Menéndez.

The murder was at the family’s home in Beverly Hills, California, so the property has become a neighborhood tourist spot. On social networks you can see how hundreds of people approach the mansion to take photographs and browse, although the event occurred more than 30 years ago.

Although all these photos and videos can be interesting content for people on social networks, this is not the case for the neighbors of the property. Beverly Hills authorities recently told ‘TMZ’ that they have received several calls from neighbors complaining about the influx of people on the street.

But the police also made it clear that nothing serious has happened yet that affects either the property or neighboring properties. They told ‘TMZ’ that so far everyone has been “behaving well.” What they have decided is to put more patrols in the area, which they hope will calm people’s annoyance because they consider it a sign that they are paying attention to the new tourist spot.

It is also very likely that this is part of a momentary fever due to the recent premiere of the series, surely in a couple of months the influx of people will decrease significantly.

In addition, it must be said that the current owners of the property are in charge of doing a major renovation to the interior of the house. It seems that they have no intention of returning the place to what it was like on the day of the murder. Something understandable.
