Actor Al Pacino recently gave an interview to ‘The New York Times’ in which he talks about the time he came very close to death. He confesses that it was a terrifying moment.
Al Pacino, known for starring in ‘The Godfather’ in 1972, among many other films, suffered from covid-19 during 2020. It must be remembered that this virus took the lives of thousands of people in the United States , and mainly affected older adults.
He explained that “I was sitting there in my house and I was gone. So. “I had no pulse,” he said during the interview. Before losing his pulse he had warned someone to call, because he felt quite bad, like never before.
“In a matter of minutes they were there, the ambulance in front of my house. “There were about six paramedics in that living room, and there were two doctors, and they had these suits that looked like they came from outer space or something,” he told ‘The New York Times’. He says that it was very shocking for him to see those people dressed like that.
When he opened his eyes, everyone around him began to say that he had returned. He also confessed: “I didn’t see the white light or anything. There is nothing there.” However, that moment in his life made him reflect, “I had never thought about that in my life. But you know, actors: it sounds good to say I died once.”
From what he says, apparently he was not with any of his children or family at the time.
