Krispy Kreme begins its Halloween offers and promotions with the launch of a new Krispy Kreme x Ghostbusters collection and a refreshing drink, inspired by the 80’s blockbuster movie that celebrates 40 years since its release. They will also give away donuts to customers who attend in costume without having to purchase.
In keeping with Halloween, this new collection featuring favorite characters from the 1984 Columbia Pictures film, Ghostbusters, consists of 4 donuts and a green drink.
Krispy Kreme Global Brand Director Dave Skena calls the brand “a guardian of Halloween sweetness” in this collaboration with Sony Pictures Consumer Products to bring “spooky, sweet Ghostbusters donuts to our fans this year.” .
Krispy Kreme customers have the new products available starting today for a limited time in a special 6-donut box that includes: Ghostbusters Cookies N’ Creme Donut, Slimer Donut, Ecto-Sprinkled Donut, and Chocolate Iced with Donut. Halloween Sprinkles.
What’s new from Krispy Kreme for Halloween
Ghostbusters Cookies and Cream Donut Made with OREO – This donut comes with a No Ghost logo, dipped in chocolate frosting, with Oreo bits and Oreo buttercream.
Stay Puft Marshmallow Man Donut – Fizzy donut with powdered topping, marshmallow-flavored buttercream topping, and a sweet Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.
Ecto-Sprinkled Donut: An original donut dipped in orange icing and sprinkled with neon sprinkles.
Slimer Donut: A purple and green glazed donut, with lemon-flavored green filling and a sweet Slimer.
Slimer’s Slime-ade: a new refreshing drink with the characteristic green color of ectoplasm.
For the Halloween celebration, Krispy Kreme plans to offer a free original glazed donut to customers who attend with any costume at participating stores on October 31, the brand reported in a statement.
